Crimson Storm

Clouds gather unlike none before
Winds raging causing an uproar
Rain pouring heavy as lead
Thunder roaring in shades of red

Crimson storm is raging across the land
Mortals full of fear in vain hold their hands
Power of god unleashed, that no one understands
All are destined to die, the storm commands

Die, die, one by one they're dead, dead
The storm cuts them down, down

All lay dead, all but me
I am spared, reluctantly
I face the storm, silently

And once again, I reach my hand towards you,
And once again sanity invades me,
And the crimson storm continues…

Once again, I reach towards you
But crimson clouds obstruct my view
Beyond them there is something true
To reach heaven, I must push through

In the eye of the storm
A hope is suddenly born
Beautiful and warm
Beyond the clouds and rain, it formed

A glimpse into a dream
Shimmering like a stream
Barely visible gleam
From the top of my lung I scream

Not a moment passed
As I grab towards it fast

My crimson maiden standing still
I grab her arm before I'm killed
